Rohit Sharma, the captain of the 2024 World Cup champion Indian team, has been appointed as the brand ambassador of the upcoming edition. The much-awaited India-Pakistan match will be played on the 15th. This match will be held at the Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. Pakistan will play all the matches in Sri Lanka. Like the last edition, 20 teams are participating in the World Cup this time too. All the teams have been divided into 4 groups. Each group has 5 teams. India is in Group A. This group includes Pakistan, Namibia, Netherlands and USA. Similarly, Group B has Australia, Ireland, Oman, Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe, while Group C has Bangladesh, England, Italy, Nepal, West Indies; Group D has Afghanistan, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa and UAE.
