During this, the Commissionerate Police has been providing services to the people in the Twin Cities despite many setbacks. But the behavior of the police has not changed. The criminals have not deviated from the path of punishment. However, the same success has not been achieved in reducing crime. The Commissionerate Police has also got the powers of a magistrate. The Commissionerate Police, with its slogan 'We Care We Dare', which means 'We are brave, we are careful', has introduced itself to the city. The behavior has not changed. Law and order and crime control cannot be separated. The Commissionerate Police has shown its expertise in arresting cyber criminals. The Commissionerate started in 2008 with 36 police stations in the Twin Cities. The first police station of the Twin Cities was established on January 1, 2008. Now it has been merged with the Police Commissioner, Gonath Binay Behera. 17 police stations. Currently, the number of police stations in the Twin Cities has reached 53 with the OSRTC office at AG Chowk. The office was started in 2-4 rooms in Dwaitanagari. Only 8 police stations have been completely shut down. Now, after a month, Vijay has become the new commissioner and is functioning in 51 police stations. Meanwhile, Kumar Sharma. The construction of the Commissionerate Police headquarters was completed at a rapid pace. There was a provision that the police force would be separated from the police station level for law and order and crime control. But so far it has not been implemented. The Commissionerate Police has no less headache regarding crime investigation and law and order. Under the burden of law and order, the Commissionerate is covering up the failure of police investigations. Festivals, celebrations, processions and VVIP duty are hindering the investigation.
