Hotel Employee Found Hanging in Athagarh Residence, Police Investigate

Hanging body recovered Athagarh, 31/12 (Apr): Police have recovered the hanging body of a hotel employee from her residence. The deceased has been identified as Lipika Vishal (24), an employee of the Andasupa Hotel and Restaurant located at Khuntkata Tarini Chack on Andasupa Road, Athagarh. The house is located in Analdih village under Dhushuri police station in Bhadrak district. On receiving the information, the Athagarh police reached the spot, seized the body and sent it to the Upkhand Hospital for autopsy. Police said that the manner of death of the young woman will be clear after the autopsy report comes. According to police information, Lipika had been working at the Andasupa Hotel for the past two months. Her duty starts at 8 am every day. On Wednesday, another hotel employee called Lipika when she did not turn up for work at 8 am. After repeatedly calling her, there was no response, so he went to her room. After opening the door, he saw Lipika hanging with a rope tied around her neck. The hotel owner, Ashok Kumar, informed the groom about this. The hotel owner's house is in the Rajupatna area of Sadar police station in Dhenkanal and he had started a hotel business here a few years ago. On receiving the news, the family of the deceased Lipika reached Athagarh police station.
