Sharatpremi Family Hosts Friendship Gathering in Mahanga to Uphold Regional Dignity
Sharatpremi Family's Friendship Gathering Mahanga, 3112 (AP): A friendship gathering was held on the 28th at Asureshwar Rathdand by the Sharat Premi Family under the chairmanship of literary Avni Chandra Das. Former Income Tax Commissioner Shobhan Kar, the chief executive of Sharatpremi Family and chairman of Sharat Kar Anima Kar Foundation, said that Mahanga and Nishchintkoili are a civilized and culturally rich region and it is the responsibility of all of us to maintain its dignity. The program began after paying tribute to the late Sharat Kar. Many intellectuals, politicians, elders, educationists, poets, writers, social workers, students, journalists, farmers and workers from 64 panchayats of Mahanga constituency attended. President Shri Das expressed that this family friendship festival is being organized with the aim of further developing the capital of our land as the birthplace of many distinguished personalities of the state.
